Keith Gelhorn is the Founder and CEO of ADDtext.me. He started the business in March of 2017 in order to scale his existing business ADDvocacy ADHD & Life Skills Coaching ltd (Founded March 2012).
ADDvocacy provides 1-1 & group coaching for children, as well as youth and adults living with ADHD, Learning Disabilities, High Functioning Autism, Executive Function and Mental Health challenges who are in transition to:
- High School
- Career Exploration
- Skilled Trades and Technology
We also provide peer-led training for educators and employers on how to maximize productivity of this diverse workforce.
ADDtext.me was created to reach worldwide clientele at an affordable price point with on-demand / peer-led coaching.
Keith’s ability to build rapid rapport is due to the fact that he lives with ADHD, Depression and Anxiety and is no stranger to the extreme challenges and paradoxical advantages a learning difference can have on one’s life!
My name is Alana Tattrie and I am the Team Lead & Social Media Coordinator. . In 2016, I graduated Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Arts In Child and Youth Study in 2016. Keith and I met when we were in the Human Services Program at NSCC in 2011-2013. He told me to call him up when I finished my degree and he would have a job for me, 2 months before graduation he hired me, flew me down to Virginia for ADHD Coaching Training, and I have been loving this position ever since!
My goal is to support youth, and adults with various barriers to learning. Together, we will create strADDegies which will help foster growth and develop a skill-set that will lead you to future success!
My name is Kiley Brown. I graduated from Nova Scotia Community College in 2017 with a Diploma in Social Services and will be continuing my studies at St. Mary’s University in pursuit of a degree in Sociology. I am actively involved in my home town of Brookfield, Nova Scotia, volunteering and co-facilitating a youth group. I joined ADDtext in 2017 as part-time ADHD Coach and also work for ADDvocacy ADHD & Life Skills Coaching as a co-facilitator of their signature training program, strADDegies for Succcess. I am passionalte about helping my clients reach their goals and live an awesome life!
Mariam Ragab is a 1st year Computer Science student at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS. She is passionate about social justice issues and human rights, and is inspired to remove the stigma surrounding mental illness in society, and improve access to education and technology for all youth. She is also passionate about technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. Mariam is also a passionate Computer Scientist. She served as a course representative for her first year computer science courses, and is passionate about learning and using her skills to help others. She has also attended the East Coast Student Leadership Conference (ECSLC), and was a member of the organizing committee for DalLead (the Dalhousie Student Leadership Conference). Mariam is also in the process of registering her own non-profit to combat stigma surrounding mental illness.
